This is an original 1851 black and white in-text wood engraving of an illustration that depicts the historic steel arch bridge known as High Bridge or Aqueduct Bridge that spans the Harlem River and connects the Bronx and Manhattan in the city of New York, NY, USA. Originally built in 1848, it is the oldest surviving bridge in NYC.

This 162+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Moderate aging throughout. Small crease - top margin. There is light bleedthrough on this piece from the verso. Some light surface rub. Please note: There is printing on the verso.
