This is an original 1901 black and white halftone print of the cottage of Dame Ann Tyson in Hawkshead, England of the Lake District. This was the surrogate home of English Lake Poet William Wordsworth and his brothers and was remembered fondly in later works of Wordsworth and other Lake Poets

The Literary Association of the English Lakes or the English Lake Poets were a collection poets and writers who lived in the picturesque Lake District of England in the 19th and 20th centuries. They were associated based simply on their subject matter, being inspired by the Lake District, and by their residence to that region of England. Notable scribes from this association were William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Dorothy Wordsworth.
