This is an original 1901 black and white halftone print of "Dora's Field." Situated next to St. Mary's Church in Rydal, England of Cumbria's Lake District, this field was purchased by prominent English Lake Poet with the intention of building a small cottage for his daughter Dora. Unfortunately, in 1847 before construction was even planned, Dora had passed on. Instead of a home, Wordsworth, with his wife, sister and a team of gardeners created a living memorial in the hundreds of daffodils shown here.
