This is an original 1901 black and white halftone print of Rydal Mount in Ambleside, England. This was the historic home of William Wordsworth, English poet and one of the founders of the English Lake Poets. Today, this cottage serves as museum and memorial to Wordsworth.

The Literary Association of the English Lakes or the English Lake Poets were a collection poets and writers who lived in the picturesque Lake District of England in the 19th and 20th centuries. They were associated based simply on their subject matter, being inspired by the Lake District, and by their residence to that region of England. Notable scribes from this association were William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Dorothy Wordsworth.
