This is an original 1907 black and white print ad for Clifton Springs Sanitarium in Clifton Springs, New York. The Five-Story L-Shaped brick Sanitarium with architecture modeled after the Richardsonian Romanesque style and was built around 1892. Dr. Henry Foster, the central character to the Sanitarium, dreamt of God speaking to him and instructing him to build a Sanitarium centered around God, where prayer would rule over medical treatment. In 1974 this building was converted into senior citizen apartments.
