This is an original 1841 engraving of architectural details of various fountains, doors, and arches designed by Giacomo Vignola and Andrea Palladio, drawn by architect J. N. L. Durand. Also referenced in the engraving is the engraver, J. Coune (bottom left corner).

Period Paper is pleased to offer an historically important collection of original elephant folio engravings of architectural masterpieces, both modern and ancient. The drawings in this collection are the work of French architect, Jean-Nicolas Louis Durand (1760-1834). This is a rare collection, and all of the engravings are in very good condition considering their age. Please note that due to the large format of these engravings, they will be shipped rolled in a museum-quality shipping tube.

This 170+ year old Item is rated Fine+. No creases. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. There is some light aging and foxing; and some light water staining along the bottom margin edge (not shown) --please see image.
