This is an original 1849 black and white stone lithograph of the Valley of Interlaken before the sun rises in Bern, Switzerland. This valley lies at the bottom of a hanging U-shaped valley that extends south and is one of the deepest in the Alpine Chain. Interlaken is now called Interlaken-Oberhasli district that was created on January 1, 2010.
