This is a rare original 1888 color chromolithograph of several popular clothing styles in 16th century Italy during the Italian Renaissance, as they were portrayed in various works of art. The bizarre objects each figure is leaning on appear to be there simply to replace the object these ladies were using as support in their original paintings and illustrations.
