This is an original 1906 black and white heliogravure of a painting located in the tomb of Senenmut of western Thebes, Egypt. Shown in the image are Aegean ambassadors. Senenmut (also Senmut or Senmout), was an 18th dynasty architect, and supervised the erection of two obelisks at the entrance to the Temple of Karnak. He is also claimed to be the architect of Deir el-Bahri and the Mortuary Temple at Deir el-Bahri.
