This is an original 1906 color photolithograph depicting the Aegean ambassadors seen from the Tomb of Senenmut in Western Thebes. Senenmut (Sen-mut, Senmut or Senmout), was an 18th dynasty architect, and supervised the erection of two obelisks at the entrance to the Temple of Karnak. He is also claimed to be the architect of Deir el-Bahri and the Mortuary Temple at Deir el-Bahri.
