This is an original 1926 halftone print of a wall at the Dolebury (Rabbit) Warren near the village of Churchill. The term "cyclopean" refers to the style in which the wall was built. When still standing in its entirety, the wall would have been constructed of many large, unhewn boulders stacked and held in place by smaller stones.
