This is an original 1928 two-color in-text lithograph of an illustrated page by the Swiss-born illustrator and painter, Charles Émile Egli (known as Carlègle) (1877-1937) for the book Sappho by René Puaux (Pichon, 1926). Please note the deckle edge on the bottom, top, and left margins.
