This is an original 1931 two-color heliogravure (comprising a black ink heliogravure base with a color lithograph plate on top) of an illustration by the French artist, illustrator and editor, Édouard Chimot (1880-1959) for the book La Femme et le Pantin by Pierre Louys (Éditions d'Art Devambez, 1928). Please note the deckle edge on the bottom margin.
