This is an original 1950 sepia photogravure of Ushuaia which is the capital city of the province of Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina, South America. Many consider this to be the southernmost city in the world. The city experiences about 200 days of light rain or snow each year.

The Tierra Del Fuego (Land of Fire) is separated from the rest of Argentina by the Strait of Magellan and was first inhabited by the Selk'nam Indians about 10,000 years ago.
