This is an original 1951 black and white photogravure of Melpomene (Muse of Tragedy/Singing), Erato (Muse of Love) and Polyhymnia (Muse of Sacred poetry) from the Muses Room at the Hotel Nicolas Lambert de Thorigny. This photogravure was painted by the artist Eustache Le Sueur (Lesueur), a prominent French painter and the founder of the French Academy of Painting.
