This is an original 1918 color cover for the June 15th, 1918 issue of The Literary Digest featuring illustrated content regarding the Service Stars flag by Alfred Orr. One interesting note is the "Notice to Reader" at the top: "When you finish reading this magazine place a 1 cent stamp on the notice, hand same to any postal employee and it will be places in the hands of our soldiers or sailors at the front."
