This is an original 1892 color lithograph map of Gaul's province's after the rule of Julius Caesar Augustus. The Gallic Wars had taken their toll on the landscape dividing the regions among rulers of provinces under the banner of the Roman Empire which were Provincia, Belgica, Germania, Maxima Sequanorum, Lugdunensis, and Aquitania.

CONDITION

This 119+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. No creases. Minor print defect - bottom. No surface rub.No tears. No water damage. Please note there are two creases as a result publication's original folding. There is also a print defect where paint used in the original was spilled in the bottom of the map.
