This is an original 1904 black and white relief line-block map that depicts the layout of the French attackers and Spanish defenders at the Siege of Zaragaza from 1808-1809 during the Peninsular War. After a prolonged siege, the city's defenders were forced to surrender to the overwhelming French forces.
