This is an original 1914 black and white tipped-in halftone print of a portrait of English music conductor Sir Henry Joseph Wood (1869-1944). Wood directed so many of London's promenade concerts or "proms" that the concerts were officially renamed in his honor after his death as the" Henry Wood Promenade Concerts".
