This is an original 1917 halftone print showing the size of the holes made by the shells from a Skoda Howitzer, the massive Austrian siege guns used in World War I. The soldiers lying in the hole add some reality to how large these craters are--this one being 22 feet deep and 50 feet wide.

This 94+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. Some light surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note there is printing on the reverse.
