This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the city of Akaba; a portrait of King Feisal who reigned as the King of Iraq from 1921 to 1933; and an image of sugarloaf huts in Mesopotamia. Historically, Mesopotamia is the area of the Tigris-Euphrates river system (current day Iraq, and parts of Syria, Turkey and Iran). The caption for the city writes, "City of Akaba, the Arabian home of Prince Feisal, who, forced to renounce his claims to Syria, has been proclaimed King of Irak. It is an important seaport."
