This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of "Wild Geese," and "The Gale." The caption writes, "Two fine examples of the work of Winslow Homer, one of the most noted of American artists, are reproduced on this page. His 'Wild Geese' shown above brought $28,000 and 'The Gale' below was sold by the Babcock Galleries to the Worcester Art Museum in 1916 for $30,000. There is power in both pictures that goes far to explain Homer's eminence."
