This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of a destroyed stone bridge over the Marne river at Chateau-Theirry, a demolished forest in the Somme area, a railway bridge over the Vesle river, and a German supply train smashed by British shells. The caption for the latter writes, "Supply train of the Germans smashed by British shells at Clery Station, near Peronne, France. Cars and goods are heaped together in a common ruin, just as they appeared when the British forces captured the station."
