This is a set of 8 original 1933 color prints of works by the French romantic painter ThŽodore ChassŽriau (1819-1856). The prints include "L'Adoration des Mages," "Femme de Pcheur de Mola di Ga‘te Embrassant un Enfant," "Portrait de Lamartine," "Esther se Parant por tre PrŽsentŽe au Roi AssuŽrus," "Portrait de la Mre de L'Artist," "Les Deux Soeurs," "Sapho," and "Portrait du GŽnŽral Baron de Marbot." The prints are laid out on the front and back of three pages to accompany an article "L'Oeuvre Nostalgique de ChassŽriau" by Georges Grappe. Each print is hand tipped-in on a sturdy textured paper and can be easily removed for individual framing. Please note that the dimensions of the actual images vary.
