"Fisherman Asleep in his Skiff" by Tai Chin (Styled Wen-Chin) This is an original 1936 color print of a beautiful piece originally produced during the Ming Dynasty by influential painter, Tai Chin. This lyrical vision of a fisherman asleep among the reeds in his skiff is beautifully composed with a rising moon against a misty sky.

Tai Chin's fame was spread by the nobility of China, who were impressed by his skills and the emotion evoked in his paintings, but was marred by his contemporaries, whose jealousy grew as Wen-Chin's fame did.
