This is an original 1941 black and white halftone print of actor Pierre Fresnay is his role as Captain de Boeldieu, actor Jean Gavin as Lieutenant Maréchal, and actor Erich von Stroheim as Rittemeister von Rauffenstein in a scene from the 1937 French war film entitled, "La Grande Illusion", that was direct by Jean Renoir.

This 72+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout. Light creasing. There is light bleedthrough on this piece from the verso. Light surface rub - top right corner. Small tear - right margin.
