This is an original 1891 half-page print article about the Codonophone, a musical instrument that imitate the sound of bells. This article also features an illustration of the instrument which is composed of twenty-five tubes, and is capable of giving musical sounds covering a range of two octaves. The acoustic purity of the sounds is said to be admirable. The mechanism by which the instrument is operated is very analogous to that of the piano.
