This is an original 1914 black and white tipped-in halftone print of a portrait of English violinist Marie Pauline Hall (1884-1956). During her musical career, Hall played for the British Symphony Orchestra. The 1709 Stradibarius violin she played during her life sold at Sotheby's in 1988 for £473,000.
