This is an original 1908 two-color halftone print of a Realist style painting by Franz von Lenbach (1836-1904) that portrayed German Field Marshal Helmuth von Moltke the Elder (1800-1891) of the Prussian Army. His military service included the Second Schleswig War, Austro-Prussian War, Franco-Prussian War, and the Battle of Nezib during the Second Turko-Egyptian War.
