N. C. Wyeth

(1882-1945) N. C. Wyeth was an American painter and illustrator known for his realistic style of painting and illustration. He illustrated many famous American books including Treasure Island, The Last of the Mohicans, The Deerslayer, Robinson Crusoe, and Rip Van Winkle, as well as painted a number of murals. In addtion, Wyeth illustrated a number of calendar and poster images for companies such as New York Life Insurance, Morell & Company, and the Pennsylvania Railroad.
