This is an original 1929 black and white halftone print of seals laying in the sun along the coast in the rookery of St. Paul's Island which is the largest of the Pribilof Islands. These volcanic islands are located off the coast of Alaska in the Bering Sea.

This 82+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Light aging throughout. No creases. Minor print defect - bottom. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note: There is printing on the verso. Please also note that there are a few dark spots and smudges in the margins of this piece. There is also a print defect in the top left side.
