This is an original 1939 tipped-in color print of turn-of-the-century American artist John Singer Sargent's
Lord Ribblesale, a portrait of the elegant sportsman who was not only a Liberal, but also a good friend of Britain's monarchs, including Victoria, Edward VII, and George V. He passed away in 1925.

This 72+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. Light moisture wrinkling. Please note that there is printing on the reverse of the mounting board. Also, there is some slight damage along the left edge, visible in the digital image.
