This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of a radio set connected with electric light current, and a telephoto apparatus invented by Edouard Belin of France, which allows photographs to be transmitted by telephone. The caption for the bottom image writes, "Its feasibility has been demonstrated by photographs thus transmitted between Chicago and New York, and also across the ocean. The possibilities involved in the invention are beyond calculation."
