This is an original 1908 halftone print of Mr. and Mrs. George J. Gould, posing for a snapshot after bidding adieu to their son Jay when he was sailing to compete internationally for tennis. Gould was a successful railroad executive for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad and the Western Pacific Railroad.

This 103+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +++. Moderate aging throughout. Light wrinkling. No natural defects. Some heavy surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is rub from the print on the reverse. Please also note that there is white speckling inside the image.
