This is an original 1927 halftone print of an image featuring the Hevsurs, one of the many isolated hill tribes, wearing the heavily mail armor in which their ancestor used to fight. The Georgians, who have possessed a high civilization for many centuries, number more than a million people. They speak a language which seems to be totally unrelated to any other language in the world.
