1933 Print Sugar Refinery Boiling Vacuum American Crop Vat Liquor Crystals FZ2

This is an original 1933 halftone print of a vacuum used by the American Sugar Refining Company. During this process, the sugar is boiled in the pans and forms microscopic crystals. The company was founded in 1891, and was the largest sugar refining industry in the beginning of the 20th century. The company became Domino Sugar.
