This is an original 1919 black and white print ad for Republic "The Yellow Chassis" Trucks, featuring a fantastic illustration by M. Lewis. This company was known for manufacturing commercial trucks between 1913 and 1929 in Alma, Michigan. It was also a main supplier of Liberty Trucks, which were utilized by American Troops during World War I. During 1918, Republic Trucks were the most recognized truck manufacturer in the United States, producing an average of one out of every nine trucks.
