1922 Rotogravure Alexandersson Alternator New Brunswick Wireless Radio Station


This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of a high frequency Alexandersson alternator. Shown in the top image is the alternator at the New Brunswick, New Jersey wireless station. The bottom image shows the alternator at the General Electric Company at Schenectady, New York. The caption for the latter image writes, "It is used in all the great stations of the radio corporation, and its tremendous transmitting power has made transoceanic communication possible and easy."
