This is an original 1884 heliogravure of an example of Japanese metal work. This piece contains two views of a lovely wrought iron vase, made by Koumai.

Period Paper has obtained an exquisite collection of Japanese art prints and art plates (including color prints; halftone prints; heliogravures; and chromolithographs). Printed in 1883-1884 these prints and plates come from No. 231 of a limited edition printing of 500. This is truly a rare collection for the connoisseur of Japanese art.
