This is an original 1910 two-color lithographed map of the battlefields of Chancellorsville, the Second Battle of Fredericksburg, and Salem Church, all three in occurring in Virginia, between April 29th and May 4th, 1863. Following Lee's victory at Chancellorsville, perhaps his finest victory of the War, Confederate forces once again invaded the North, this time pushing into Pennsylvania, in an attempt to menace Northern cities, damage morale, and resupply using enemy materials.
