This is a rare large format original 1909 color print ad for "The Diamond Dye Annual: A Book of Helpful Hints," a product by Wells & Richardson Company in Burlington, Vermont. This particular ad features Mrs. Phillip Coquillard. During tough economic times, these dyes were used to change the color of women's clothing in order to give it a brand new look and feel.

CONDITION

This 102+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout. Crease extending into image. No natural defects. No tears. No water damage. There is heavy creasing and wrinkling in this ad, mainly visible in the margins. However, there is a heavy crease that extends across the image. Also there is some dark yellow staining in the right and left margins. There are some very small orange blemishes in the text of this ad.
