This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of a first sergeant collecting wartime souvenirs left behind by after battle. The second image shows infantry brigades commander 62 year-old Brigadier General W. J. Nicholson conversing with Colonel J. W. Kilbreth of the Artillery division.
