1920 Rotogravure WWI Thiaucourt France Aerial View Wartime 1st Corps WAR1

This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of an aerial view of Thiaucourt when the Germans occupied the area. The 1st Corps captured the town on the first day of battle; however, the Germans, upon their retreat, fired upon the city, destroying it.
