This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the Belgian King and Queen entering Brussels after World War I. The caption writes, "State entry of the King and Queen of the Belgians into Brussels, their capital, Nov. 22, 1918, eleven days after the signing of the armistice which broke the German power and redeemed the kingdom. The occasion was one of tremendous rejoicing on the part of the delivered people..."
