This is an original 1934 black and white halftone print of a photograph of the grave of Second Lieutenant Quentin Roosevelt, youngest son of US President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, near Chamery, France, Europe during World War I. Quentin served as a pilot in the 95th Aero Squadron of the United States Army Air Service from 1917-1918 when he was killed in aerial combat on July 14, 1918. Airman and aviators from the Sixth French Army can be seen here paying their respects.

This 78+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout. Light creasing. There is light bleedthrough on this piece from the verso. Some light surface rub. Please note: There is printing on the verso.
