This is an original 1872 halftone print of the Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York City. It was was built in 1856Ð59 for owner Amos Richards Eno by Griffith Thomas and William Washburn. Known at the time as New York's most elegant and luxurious hotel, it was demolished in 1908. (Please note that there is printing on the reverse.)
