This is an original 1873 black and white in-text wood engraving of an illustration by R.H. Moore that depicts soldiers of the 13th Hussars, (formerly the 13th Light Dragoons), cavalry regiment of the British Army practicing military drills. The soldiers are also equipped with carbine rifles.
