This is an original 1874 halftone print of a Pulsometer in operation at distance from Steam-Boiler, showing the practical arrangements of connection, manufactured by C. Henry Hall & Company, 20 Cortlandt Street, New York. This invention is a steam pump without cylinders, pistons, pistons-rods, stuffing boxes, glands, eccentrics, slide-valves, cranks or flywheels; consequently in such a pump there is no wearing out of pistons, rods, valves, etc., and there no reboring of cylinders, repacking of pistons and pistons rods, no refacing of sliding-valves, no bolting on of cylinder-head and what is important, no oiling is required.
