This is an original 1875 black and white wood engraving of a native Schétibo custom. Upon her husbands return from fishing, his wife presents him with a bundle of Ocymum picked from the Rainforest and used as a means of perfuming and drying his hands after a hard days work.

This 136+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout. No creases. There is light bleedthrough on this piece from the verso. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note: There is printing on the verso.
