This is an original 1876 black and white wood engraving of the magnificent dining-room fountain in the hotel of Le Normand d'Etoiles located on Rue de Sentier in Paris, France. The statue was in gilded lead, and featured a classical bare-breasted maiden with both a dog and a bird peering out of the bulrushes behind her.
